Known as a ghost town, and that too, a haunted one, Kuldhara is one of those offbeat places, near Jaisalmer that has an interesting tale to it. As the popular version of the story goes, a minister by the name- Salim Singh had an eye on the young daughter of a village chieftain in Kuldhara.
There is certain tranquility and peace in the air at Gokarna and one cannot but help experience it. The simplest suggestion here is to sit out at Night on the beach, taking the sound of the lashing waves while gazing up at the clear night sky full of Stars
Wayanad is home to the Eddekal caves that seem to trace back to the Early Man age. There are plenty of inscriptions within the caves that suggest the same. The caves are also, rumored to have been formed by the arrows shot by Lord Ram’s son Luv and Kush.
This is how I would describe the Ghost Town of Hampi. For a traveler like me, entering this town is as good as being a kid in a candy store where he is lost in an excitement of actually wondering where to go next and what to choose.
Lepakshi is a great day-outing from Bengaluru – an amazing drive with family or a bike-ride with friends. All you need to do is drive past the Bengaluru airport to Devanahalli, past Chikkaballapura to Lepakshi.
