The SRM University, Sikkim was created through ‘The Shri Ramasamy Memorial University, Sikkim Act, 2013 (Act No.13 of 2013)’ sanctioned by the state of Sikkim on October, 2013.
The genesis of SRM University, Sikkim is the result of such a noble vision when it became a reality with the passing of the Shri Ramasamy Memorial University, Sikkim Act by the state legislature in October, 2013.
It has been a long cherished vision of the Founder of the SRM Group of Educational Institutions, Dr. T.R. Pachamuthu to extend the significant achievements made by the University to areas not hitherto benefitted by such multi-faceted approaches in higher education.
