Seymour Skinner. Springfield school leader who lives with his mother and isn't allowed girlfriends. Fearful of Superintendent Charmers. On permanent quest to maintain order which is under constant threat from Bart's paractical jokes. Subsequently, Skinner has been humiliated in most conceivable ways: 100 lbs. tomato exploding on his bottom; wather balloon launched with a picture of his bottom on it; etc. Says: "QUIETTTTT!!!" and "Hmmm, wash basin fresh!"

Sure, Lenny and Carl are cool, but principal Skinner is where it's at.

The world owes a great deal to minor Simpsons characters, and I have taken it upon myself to periodically-yet-irregularly celebrate them as the spirit moves me. Today we honor Principal Seymour Skinner.

From (Season 3 Episode 4) "Bart the Murderer" After having a terrible day at school, Bart stumbles upon the "Legitimate Businessman's Social Club" Mafia bar where the leader, Fat Tony, hires him to work as their permanent bartender. However, when Principal Skinner ends up missing for nearly a week, Bart is immediately blamed for murdering him, causing Bart to get sent to court. As Bart is about to get convicted, the principal shows up which leads to Bart being cleared of all the charges.

Walter Seymour Skinner, formerly known as Armin Tamzarian,[4] is the interim principal[5] of Springfield Elementary School, and a stereotypical educational bureaucrat. He struggles to control the crumbling school and is constantly engaged in a battle against its inadequate resources, apathetic and bitter teachers, and often rowdy and unenthusiastic students, Bart Simpson being a standout example. A strict disciplinarian, Skinner has an uptight, militaristic attitude that stems from his years in the United States Army as a Green Beret, which included service in the Vietnam War, where he achieved the rank of a sergeant, according to his rank insignia.
