Dave Keuning is the lead guitarist for the Killers and was born March 28, 1976. In 2000 he moved from his hometown of Pella, Iowa to Las Vegas where he began seeking band mates via personal adds in the Las Vegas Weekly. Brandon Flowers would eventually respond to Keuning's add and together they founded the Killers in 2001.
