Amanda Freitag is a New York chef and frequent guest on Food Network television programming. She is also a judge on the TV cooking competition Chopped and co-host, with Ty Pennington, of American Diner Revival.

Amanda Freitag graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and has been a highly successful chef in New York City for more than 20 years, working in popular restaurants such as Cesca, Gusto and The Harrison. She appears on Food Network as a Chopped judge, a co-host of American Diner Revival and has battled Bobby Flay on Iron Chef America. Her first cookbook, The Chef Next Door: A Pro Chefâ??s Recipes for Fun, Fearless Home Cooking, was released in September 2015.
