Solser en Hesse (English: Solser and Hesse) was a short Dutch silent film by M.H. Laddé and J.W. Merkelbach from 1900, featuring the comedians Lion Solser and Piet Hesse. the film was first distributed in the Netherlands by 'Edison's Ideal' in 1900, and second film starring the two men and under the same name was released in 1906 by 'The Royal Bioscope'. Both films are lost.

A Trip Down Market Street is a 13-minute actuality film recorded by placing a movie camera on the front of a cable car as it travels down San Francisco’s Market Street. A virtual time capsule from over 100 years ago, the film shows many details of daily life in a major American city, including the transportation, fashions and architecture of the era. The film begins at 8th Street and continues eastward to the cable car turntable, at The Embarcadero, in front of the San Francisco Ferry Building. It was produced by the four Miles brothers: Harry, Herbert, Earle and Joe. Harry J. Miles cranked the Bell & Howell camera during the filming. The film is notable for capturing San Francisco shortly before the city's devastating earthquake and fire, which started on the morning of Thursday, April 18, 1906.

The Story of the Kelly Gang is a 1906 Australian silent film that traces the life of legendary bushranger and outlaw Ned Kelly (1854–1880). It was directed by Charles Tait and shot in and around the city of Melbourne. The film ran for more than an hour with a reel length of about 1,200 metres (4,000 ft), making it the longest narrative film yet seen in the world. It was first shown at Melbourne's Athenaeum Hall on 26 December 1906 and premiered in the United Kingdom in January 1908. A major commercial and critical success, it is regarded as the origin point of the bushranging drama, a genre that dominated the first decade of Australian film production. Since its release, many other films have been made about the Kelly legend.

The '?' Motorist is a 1906 British short silent comedy film, directed by Walter R. Booth. It features a motorist on the run from the police. during which he drives along clouds, around the moon, and around the rings of Saturn before landing through the roof of a courthouse. The trick film is, "one of the last films that W.R. Booth made for the producer-inventor R.W. Paul," and according to Michael Brooke of BFI Screenonline, "looks forward to the more elaborate fantasies that Booth would make for Charles Urban between 1907 and 1911, as well as drawing on a wide range of the visual tricks that Booth had developed over the preceding half-decade."

The film, an updated comedic adaptation of the Faust legend, follows the adventures of an engineer who barters with the Devil for superhuman powers and is forced to face the consequences. It was released by Méliès's Star Film Company and is numbered 849–870 in its catalogues, where it is advertised as a grande pièce fantastique en 35 tableaux.

Dream of a Rarebit Fiend is a 1906 American silent film directed by Edwin S. Porter for Edison Manufacturing Company. It is a seven-minute live-action film adaptation of the comic strip Dream of the Rarebit Fiend by American cartoonist Winsor McCay. The film was marketed as using several special effects in which "some of the photographic 'stunts' have never been seen or attempted before."
