Austin Peay State University
After serving three seasons as assistant coach for the Lady Govs, Shane Showalter was named APSU head coach for 2015-16, July 6, after the resignation of Stephanie Paris. Showalter, who served as Colorado State-Pueblo's head coach for 10 seasons, elected to join Paris, whom he mentored for five seasons, at APSU prior to the 2013 season.

Belmont University
Chris Kuhlmeyer begins his fifth season as the head softball coach at Belmont. Kuhlmeyer was named the head coach of Belmont Softball on July 10, 2009. Seasoned with experience from several of the nation's top programs and academic institutions, Kuhlmeyer ushered in a new era for the program.

Eastern Illinois University
Angie Nicholson was hired as the EIU Panther softball coach on July 19, 2013, following her DI stints at Cleveland State and Butler. In her first season at Eastern, she led the Panthers to the Ohio Valley Conference tournament as EIU finished in third place overall and second in the West Division during the 2014 campaign. Six different Panthers also earned post-season accolades, including a pair of First Team and a trio of Second Team All-OVC awards.

Eastern Kentucky University
Jane Worthington has been committed to the success of Eastern Kentucky softball since its inception in 1993, and the rewards continue to mount. The 2016 season will be the 24th for the Washington, Utah native with the Colonels. She has guided the squad to two Ohio Valley Conference titles (2002, 2004) and two NCAA tournament appearances (2002, 2004).

Morehead State University
David Williams is in his fifth year as the head softball coach at Morehead State. The Greensboro, N.C., native, has guided the Eagles to OVC Tournament appearances in each of the past three seasons. With an 8-5 victory over Drexel on March 8, 2013, Williams eclipsed the 200 career victory mark and he is 256-251-1 in ten seasons overall.

Murray State University
Head coach Kara Amundson enters her fourth season at the helm of the Racers, after three highly successful seasons in Murray. Amundson became the second softball coach in Murray State's history in July of 2012, but is no stranger to Murray State. She previously served as an assistant coach for the softball team for the 2010 and 2011 seasons and also served as the women's tennis coach in 2012.

Southeast Missouri State University
Mark Redburn has been hired as the next head softball coach at Southeast Missouri State University, Director of Athletics Mark Alnutt announced on June 26, 2014. The fourth head coach in Southeast softball history, Redburn won 90 games in five years during his previous head coaching stint at the University of Evansville.

Tennessee State University
Tom Opdenbrouw was named the fifth head softball coach at Tennessee State in May 2014. Opdenbrouw has spent the last four seasons as the Director of Operations for the TSU football program. Prior to his stint with the Tigers, he served as an assistant softball coach for two seasons under Joyce Maudie.

Tennessee Technological University
Bonnie Bynum is into her third season as head coach of the Tennessee Tech softball team, leading the Golden Eagles to another Ohio Valley Conference Tournament appearance in 2014, the program's 20th all-time and second straight under Bynum. Tech posted a 15-12 conference record in Bynum's second season at the helm, going 13-3 in the team's final 16 games to close out the year.

University of Tennessee at Martin
Donley Canary enters his 15th season at the helm of the Skyhawks. Canary guided the UT Martin softball team to its second Ohio Valley Conference regular season championship, OVC Tournament title and NCAA Regional since 2009 before finding himself in the 2013 OVC Tournament championship game. Amongst numerous team accomplishments, he won his 400th career game on April 20, 2013 and the Skyhawks have appeared in 11 OVC tournaments in the past 13 years.
