Charleston Southern University
Shane Winkler enters his eighth season as the head softball coach at Charleston Southern in 2015-16 and closes in on 200 career victories with the Buccaneers this upcoming season. Winkler guided the Bucs to their third 30-win season under his tutelage in the 2015 season as CSU posted a 31-28 record, including a program-record 22 wins at home. The Buccaneers had six Big South Player/Pitcher of the Week honorees this season and had four players recognized on the postseason Big South All-Conference team with Amanda Matsumoto, Cheyenne Gandara, Marci Christian and Stephanie Baro all earning honors.

Drexel University
Carl Taylor joined the Drexel Athletics staff in February 2015 as the Interim Head Softball Coach and then was named Head Softball Coach in July of the same year. In his first season with Drexel, Taylor led the Dragons to 19 wins after joining the team just two weeks before the season began. The squad finished sixth in conference with six victories over Colonial Athletic Association opponents. Under his direction Sylvia Llamas and Paula Ueno each earned First Team All-CAA honors, making them the first Dragons to earn this recognition since 2012.

Elon University
Kathy Bocock completed her fourth season at the helm of the Elon University softball program in 2015. Bocock was promoted the head coach of the Elon softball program after serving as the interim head coach during the 2012 season. Prior to her time as the interim coach in 2011-12, Bocock had spent two seasons as an assistant coach with the Phoenix. She came to Elon with 24 years of coaching and athletic administrative experience. More recently, she served as a private softball coach in Greensboro, N.C. where she provided hitting and fielding instruction for athletes ranging from ages eight to 15.

Hofstra University
Larissa Anderson is entering her second season as the Hofstra Softball Head Coach in 2016. Anderson led Hofstra to the Colonial Athletic Association championship and a NCAA Tournament berth in her first season as the program's head coach in 2015, guiding Hofstra to a 38-14-1 record and a spot in the NCAA Gainesville Regional. Anderson and her assistants were named the NFCA Northeast Region's Coaching Staff of the Year after Hofstra posted a collective 2.05 ERA, smashed 56 home runs and out-scored opponents, 277-129. Morgan Lashley and Caryn Bailey were recognized as first-team NFCA all-region members under her tutelage.

James Madison University
Mickey Dean, a native of the Central Shenandoah Valley, is in his fourth year as head coach of the James Madison softball program. Dean has brought JMU to new heights and in the national spotlight of collegiate softball since his arrival three years ago. He guided the Dukes to NCAA postseason each of the past three seasons after setting a single-season wins record in each year. He has won more than 76 percent of his games as JMU's head coach with a record of 135-42, including an impressive 52-6 mark in the Colonial Athletic Association.

Towson University
The 2014 season was a successful one for the Tigers. Costello led the Tigers to their 10th Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) tournament appearance. Towson finished as the CAA Runner Up, its highest postseason finish since 2009 when the Tigers finished in second-place.

John Seneca will begin his fifth season overall and his first as the program's head coach on the University of Delaware softball staff during the 2016 season. Seneca served as assistant coach during his first four years, and was the program's Interim Head Coach during the final three weeks of the 2015 campaign.

Kristy Norton, who helped turn James Madison into one of the top softball programs in the Colonial Athletic Association, is in her third season as head coach of the UNCW softball program. Just the fourth coach in the 28-year history of fast-pitch softball at UNCW, Norton piloted the Seahawks to a successful 2014 season that featured victories over regional foes Coastal Carolina, Gardner-Webb and UNCG as well as a road series victory over Colonial Athletic Association foe Drexel.
