Iowa State University
Iowa State Women's Softball is coached by Stacy Gemeinhardt-Cesler (2006-present), who has a 65-72 record at Iowa State and 218-148 overall. Iowa State's softball team has an all-time record of 743-693-5 and is 53-168 in Big 12 play. The softball team plays at the Cyclone Sports Complex which opened in 2012. The team practices there and at the Bergstrom Indoor Practice Facility.

Oklahoma State University
Kenny Gajewski was named the seventh head softball coach in program history on June 13, 2015. Gajewski served the previous three seasons as an assistant coach at Florida, which won its second-consecutive Women's College World Series in 2015.

Megan Smith completed her sixth season as head coach of the University of Kansas softball team in 2015. The eighth head coach in program history, Smith's sixth season continued the trend of setting program records as she guided the Jayhawks to their second-straight NCAA Tournament. Smith, who previously spent three seasons as an assistant coach at perennial power Louisiana State University (LSU), was named the Jayhawks' head coach on June 24, 2009.

Having completed her 21st season at the University of Oklahoma, NFCA Hall of Fame head coach Patty Gasso has molded the OU softball program into a national power and permanently placed herself among the elite college softball coaches in the country. The Sooners have reached the Women's College World Series 10 times during her tenure, and in the process, advanced to the postseason in each one of her 21 seasons.

University of Texas at Austin
The University of Texas Longhorn's Softball team is Head Coached by Connie Clark and assisted by Jennifer McFalls and Corrie Hill. The team has made seven consecutive trips to the NCAA tournament and have failed twice in the last two years ('10 and '11) at home in Regionals.
