The founding father of FGCU softball, David Deiros enters his 14th season as head coach. Hired in 2001 to build the program from the dirt up, Deiros has since guided the Eagles to 11 seasons with a winning record, eight campaigns with 35+ wins and a win percentage of .699 (512-241-3).

Jacksonville University and Chief Athletics Officer Dr. Donnie Horner proudly welcomed Jennifer Steele as the new softball head coach in July of 2014. A nine-year coaching veteran, Steele comes to JU as the fifth head coach in program history after serving the past two seasons at her alma mater, Longwood, as the first assistant coach.

Kennesaw State University
Tory Acheson is in his third season with the Kennesaw State softball program and enters his first full season as the Owls' head coach in 2015-16, after serving as the interim head coach during the 2015 campaign. Acheson's interim tag was lifted midway through the season on April 21, 2015 as he became the fifth head coach in the history of the KSU softball program.

Northern Kentucky University
The Norse softball began in 1985 and is currently coached by Kathy Stewart, the fourth coach in program history. NKU made their first ever NCAA Women's College World Series Tournament in 2002 before falling in the opening game. The following season, in 2003, the Norse won the program's first NCAA Tournament win. The Norse hold the NCAA record for most consecutive wins in a season with 55, set in the 2005 season. The Norse concluded the season going 55-2. In the program history the team holds an overall record of 621-445-1 (.583).

One of the most successful coaches in Division I softball, Frank Griffin is in his 20th year as head coach of the Stetson softball team. Griffin has amassed 868 career victories during his 26 seasons, an average of over 33 wins per year. His victory total currently ranks him 24th among active NCAA Division I coaches and 38th on the all-time Division I coaches list.

Chris Hawkins is in his 22nd season as the head coach of the USC Upstate softball program. To say that Hawkins is synonymous with the softball program and the Athletic Department is an understatement. He has taken the softball program to heights never before seen and has set numerous firsts for all teams in the department. He coached the 2013 softball team to the program's and department's first-ever A-Sun Tournament championship and automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
