East Tennessee State University
ETSU's baseball team won the 2013 Atlantic Sun Tournament with a 7-2 win over Kennesaw State May 26, 2013. The first-ever A-Sun championship for ETSU win earned the Bucs their first NCAA tournament appearance in 32 years.

Furman University
The Furman Paladin baseball team is led by coach Ron Smith. The team hosts its games at Latham Baseball Stadium on Furman's campus, but numerous home games are held at Flour Field in downtown Greenville. In 2005, "Ronnie Ballgame" led the Paladins to their first ever Southern Conference championship. The Paladins had a 29 win season in 2012, led by pitcher 2012 Freshman All-American Lewis 'Elliott' Warford. Freshman shortstop Matt Towarnicky and elite-eight catcher Andrew MacClatchie are two of the top recruits in the nation.

Samford University
The Samford Bulldogs baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Samford University in Homewood, Alabama, USA. The team is a member of the Southern Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. The team plays its home games at Joe Lee Griffin Stadium in Homewood, Alabama. The Bulldogs are coached by Casey Dunn.

The Citadel
The Citadel Bulldogs baseball represent The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina in College Baseball. They are classified as NCAA Division I and play in the Southern Conference. The Bulldogs are currently coached by Fred Jordan and made their one appearance in the College World Series in 1990. They are the first and so far only military school to appear in the College World Series. The Citadel has claimed eight Southern Conference Baseball Tournament titles and produced seven major league players.

University of North Carolina at Greensboro
On April 18, 2006, UNCG earned its first win over a top-ranked team in any sport during the university's Division I era. The baseball team defeated top-ranked North Carolina, 7-6, in front of a crowd of 1,835. After jumping out to a 4-1 lead, UNCG withstood several Tar Heel rallies, including a pair of runs in the top of the ninth inning before closer Patrick Currin closed the door.

Western Carolina University
The baseball program has called Ronnie G. Childress Field/Hennon Stadium its home since 1978. Childress Field, built at an initial cost of $125,000, was dedicated April 26, 1978, and named in honor of the late Ronnie G. Childress, an avid supporter of WCU athletics and a special friend of the baseball program. In 1978, the baseball stadium was moved approximately 200 yards to the east from the former "Haywood Field". The Cats have won over 72 percent of their home games since then, with a 526-201 record in 30 seasons. Bill Haywood, head baseball coach from 1969 through 1981, and Mr. E.J. Whitmire, longtime supporter and benefactor from Franklin, were the driving forces behind the building of the facility.

The Wofford Terriers baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, USA. The team is a member of the Southern Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. Wofford's first baseball team was fielded in 1889. Virginia Military Institute
The VMI Keydets are the athletic teams that represent the Virginia Military Institute. All sports participate in the NCAA's Division I, and all but four compete in the Southern Conference (the exceptions being men's and women's swimming and diving in the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association, water polo in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and rifle in the Mid-Atlantic Rifle Conference). VMI fields teams in sixteen different sports, ten for men and six for women.
