Campbell University
The Campbell Fighting Camels baseball team is Campbell University's NCAA Division I baseball team. The team plays its home games on campus at Jim Perry Stadium, named for former Campbell Baseball and Basketball player Jim Perry. Prior to 2012, the venue was known as Taylor Field. The team currently competes as members of the Big South Conference. The Fighting Camels competed in the Big South until 1994 when they joined the Atlantic Sun Conference. They returned to the Big South in 2011. Notable alumni include Jim Perry.

Coastal Carolina University

Gardner-Webb University
Rusty Stroupe has been coaching the Runnin' Bulldogs for 12 years. He graduated from Appalachian State University in 1986. Stroupe has accumulated nearly 700 wins as a college coach and is the all time winningest baseball coach in Gardner-Webb history. Stroupe was awarded the prestigious Jerry Kindall Character in Coaching Award for 2012 by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He received the award at the FCA Breakfast at the ABCA Convention in January, 2013.
