The Florida State Seminoles women's volleyball team has won four ACC titles and made seventeen appearances in the NCAA tournament, going as far as reaching the Final Four during the 2011 season.

One of the most successful coaches in college volleyball today, reigning ACC Coach of the Year Joe Sagula is in his 25th season at Carolina and 34th year overall. The winningest coach in North Carolina volleyball history, Sagula has been at the helm for six of UNC's ACC crowns and 11 of its 16 NCAA tournament appearances.

The women's volleyball team had a 26-6 2008 season overall with a record of 14-6 in conference matches.

Pittsburgh Panthers women's volleyball is the NCAA Division I intercollegiate volleyball program of the University of Pittsburgh, often referred to as "Pitt", located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Pitt volleyball team competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and plays their home games in Fitzgerald Field House. Since the founding of the volleyball program in 1974, the Panthers have had 35 winning seasons, one of the nation's top all-time winning percentages, appearances in 14 national championship tournaments, and while a member of the Big East Conference, the most conference tournament championships with eleven.

Chris Riley was named Virginia Tech head volleyball coach in 2006 and is entering his 10th season at the helm.

Hugh Hernesman, who won a conference title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament at Northwestern State in 2014, was hired on March 5, 2015 to be the ninth head coach in Clemson volleyball program history. Hernesman has spent the last five seasons at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La.

Michelle Collier enters her second season at the helm of the Yellow Jacket program. Named the eighth head volleyball coach at Georgia Tech in March 2014, Collier led the Yellow Jackets to improvements of more than 100 kills than the 2013 team and with a better hitting percentage (.216 to .182).

Chris Campbell is in his sixth season at the helm of the Eagles volleyball program, having taken over the team in 2010. As the Eagles' head coach, Campbell brings 16 years of coaching experience, including 13 as a head coach and three as an assistant, to The Heights.

Ken Murczek enters his fourth season as the head coach of the Wake Forest volleyball team in 2016. The Demon Deacons went 12-20 and 4-16 in the ACC in his third year with the Demon Deacons in 2015.

Jim McLaughlin, the only person to coach both a women's and a men's volleyball team to NCAA titles and a former women's volleyball national coach of the year at the University of Washington, was named head volleyball coach at the University of Notre Dame January 17, 2015.

A proven winner at all levels, Leonid Yelin is the sixth head coach in Syracuse University volleyball history, after taking over the program in 2012. Yelin led the University of Louisville to 14 NCAA Tournaments, including four NCAA Regional semifinals from 1996 through 2010.
