Horizon

Cleveland State Vikings men's basketball started in 1929. Before as Fenn College they were known as the Fenn College Foxes. Cleveland State has been in Division I since 1972. They are a member of the Horizon League (1994-present) Cleveland State was formerly in the Mid-Continent Conference (1982-1994). Prior to 1982, Cleveland State was an independent program.

The Detroit Titans team is the basketball team that represents the University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, Michigan, USA. The school's team currently competes in the Horizon League. The team last played in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in 2012. The Titans are currently coached by head coach Ray McCallum.

The Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team is a NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Horizon League for the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. The head coach is Linc Darner. The Phoenix saw success in the early to mid 1990s, making their first NCAA appearance in 1991 and the second round in 1994.

The Milwaukee Panthers men's basketball team is a NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Horizon League for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The current head coach is Rob Jeter.

The Oakland Golden Grizzlies are the men's basketball team that represent Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, US. The school's team competes in the Horizon League and plays their home games at the Athletics Center O'rena. The Golden Grizzlies are coached by Greg Kampe. Kampe is the third longest-tenured Division I head coach, behind Jim Boeheim and Mike Krzyzewski. Oakland last played in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in 2011.

The UIC Flames men's basketball team represents the University of Illinois at Chicago in Chicago, Illinois, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Horizon League, in which it has competed since the 1994-95 season. The Flames are currently coached by Steve McClain.

The Valparaiso Crusaders men's basketball team represents Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana. The basketball team competes in the Horizon League and is coached by Bryce Drew. Bryce replaced his father, Valparaiso coaching legend Homer Drew, in May 2011. The Crusaders play in the Athletics-Recreation Center, which has a capacity of 5,432. The team last played in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in 2015.

The Wright State Raiders team is the NCAA Division 1 basketball team that represents Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. The school's team currently competes in the Horizon League. The Raiders won their only National Championship in 1983 as a DII school and have made a total of 2 NCAA Tournament appearances. The team last played in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in 2007. The Raiders are currently coached by Billy Donlon. The Raiders play at the Ervin J. Nutter Center in Fairborn, Ohio in what is often nicknamed the 'Nutt House'. The official capacity for basketball games is 10,400.

The Youngstown State Penguins men's basketball team represents Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Horizon League, of which it has been a member since 2001. The Penguins are currently coached by Jerry Slocum.
