Zen-Nippon Pro Wrestling (全日本プロレス?) is a series of wrestling video games based on the professional wrestling promotion All Japan Pro Wrestling. The games were developed by Natsume and released for the Super Famicom and Game Boy. The second game in the series was localized for Western markets and released under the name Natsume Championship Wrestling. Subsequent 3D games based on All Japan have been released, including two using the Zen-Nippon name, but none of them were developed by Natsume.

Wrestling Spirit (WreSpi) is a series of professional wrestling computer games that was created by British programmer Adam Ryland for the PC since 2004. The games are published by Grey Dog Software. The games in the series are seen as complementary games to ones in Ryland's Extreme Warfare series. The games cast the user as a rookie wrestler who has to make it big in the world of wrestling, in the similar veins of Edge of Survival Wrestling Federation but with a more serious approach.

Wrestle War is the name of a video game which was released in the arcades in 1989, and for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis console in 1991 in Japan, Australia, and Europe only. and was published and developed by Sega. Despite being released the same year as the National Wrestling Alliance/World Championship Wrestling's WrestleWar pay-per-view, it is not associated with any wrestling promotion. The original Japanese game cover featured a Hulk Hogan look-alike, with a bandana that spelled "Hogan". It was changed for the European and US releases for royalties reasons. It did not change the wrestlers faces though, which still are similar to those of real wrestling stars of the time.

Wrestle Kingdom 2: Pro Wrestling Sekai Taisen (レッスルキングダム2 プロレスリング世界大戦, Ressuru Kingudamu 2 Puro Resuringu Sekaitaisen?, lit. Wrestle Kingdom 2: Pro-Wrestling World War) is a professional wrestling video game for the PlayStation 2. It is the sequel to Yuke's Wrestle Kingdom.

Ultimate Muscle: Legends vs. New Generation is a wrestling video game based on the anime and manga, Ultimate Muscle. It was developed in Japan by AKI Corporation and released in Japan (in 2002) and North America (in 2003) only on the GameCube. The game received favorable critics, scoring an average rating of 77 out of 100 from 21 reviews on Metacritic, and 78.87% based on the same numbers of reviews on GameRankings.

Thunder Pro Wrestling Retsuden (サンダープロレスリング列伝, Sandapuroresuringu biographies?, "Thunder Pro Wrestling Biographies") is a Japan-exclusive Sega Mega Drive professional wrestling video game. This is the only game in the Fire Pro Wrestling series to be released for that system.

Tecmo World Wrestling is a Nintendo Entertainment System professional wrestling game for one or two players released in 1989 where the player can control one of ten fictional international professional wrestlers. This is the first wrestling game to feature a play-by-play announcer, the animated Tom Talker, although his speech was only text bubbles. The game's text, e.g. Tom Talker's commentary, was translated from the Japanese game almost directly, leading to instances of Engrish. Popular female Japanese professional wrestlers like Shinobu Kandori and Noriyo Tateno appear in this game.

Saturday Night Slam Masters, known in Japan as Muscle Bomber – The Body Explosion (Japanese: マッスルボマー ザ・ボディー・エクスプロージョン?), is a 1993 pro wrestling arcade game released for the CP System by Capcom. The game features character designs by manga artist Tetsuo Hara, famous for Fist of the North Star.

Def Jam: Fight for NY is a hip hop-influenced 3D action video game published by EA Games. It was released on September 20, 2004 for PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube. It is sequel to Def Jam Vendetta and is followed by Def Jam: Icon. Def Jam Vendetta is a 2003 professional wrestling video game that combined hip hop with pro wrestling. It was released for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube. It was Electronic Arts' first attempt at a wrestling game since the widely-panned WCW Backstage Assault. The game's engine was originally designed for use in a sequel to EA's WCW Mayhem, but EA lost the WCW license when the wrestling company was purchased by the World Wrestling Federation in 2001. Several hip hop artists were featured in the game, including DMX, Method Man, Redman, Ludacris, N.O.R.E., Capone, Scarface, Joe Budden, Ghostface Killah, Keith Murray, WC and Funkmaster Flex; all of which at the time were artists of Def Jam Records. Singer Christina Milian was also featured in the game as the character known as Angel. A sequel, Def Jam: Fight for NY, was released in 2004.
