Choir involves instruction in the performance of vocal music. Choir as a class may be used to introduce students to basic techniques and practice vocal compositions. More advanced choir instruction may separate singers into the vocal parts (soprano, alto, tenor, baritone and/or basso) to introduce and practice harmonizing.
