Kostars was an alternative/pop-rock side project formed by Vivian Trimble and Jill Cunniff while on a headlining tour with Luscious Jackson in 1995. Trimble and Cunniff, who needed an additional outlet for the transistor radio hits they were writing, wrote under the name Kostars titled Klassics With A "K". The album was recorded at Kate Schellenbach's home studio, and released in 1996. It featured drums by Kate and a guest guitar spot by Gabby (also of Luscious Jackson) as well as Gene and Dean Ween of Ween and was engineered/recorded by Josephine Wiggs, bass player of The Breeders, marking her first full length engineering project. A few years later, Wiggs and Trimble would release an album together as Dusty Trails.

Killdozer was an American noise rock band, formed in Madison, Wisconsin in 1983, with members Bill Hobson, Dan Hobson and Michael Gerald. They took their name from the 1974 TV movie, directed by Jerry London, itself based on a Theodore Sturgeon short story. They released their first album, Intellectuals are the Shoeshine Boys of the Ruling Elite, in the same year. Karl von Ordoñez (April 19, 1734–September 6? 1786) (also Carlo or Carl d'Ordonetz, Ordonnetz, d'Ordóñez, d'Ordonez, Ordoniz) was one of a number of composers working in Vienna during the second half of the Eighteenth century. Ordonez was not a full-time professional musician. Most of his working life was spent in the employment of the Lower Austrian Regional Court and his musical activities were pursued in his spare time. Ordonez's choice of career was probably dictated by his social rank. As a member of the nobility, albeit of the lowest rank, he would have been aware that a professional musical career would not have befitted a man of his social standing.

She was born in Čáslav, Bohemia, and began her studies in music with her organist father Jan Josef Dusik. She later moved to London to stay with her brother, composer Jan Ladislav Dusik, and married music publisher Francesco Cianchettini. She died in London in 1833.
