Big West Softball 2016 Preseason All-Conference Teams - College Sports Madness.

The most successful head coach in Cal Poly softball program history, three-time Big West Conference Coach of the Year selection Jenny Condon enters her 12th season in 2016. Having directed Cal Poly to Big West titles and NCAA Tournament appearances in 2007 and 2009, Condon's 287 career victories at Cal Poly rank as the 10th highest total by a Big West head coach and the second highest total by any Mustang coach in any sport in school history. Condon's 121 conference victories rank 12th in Big West history.

Kelly Ford, who has enjoyed success as a collegiate athlete and as a head coach at the community college level, enters her fourth season as the head coach of the softball program at Cal State Fullerton for 2015-16.

Tairia Flowers, who has enjoyed success as an outstanding collegiate player, an Olympic gold medal winner and a successful collegiate assistant coach, is in her sixth season as head coach of the softball program at CSUN in 2016. In Flowers' short time in charge of the Matadors, she has led the program to new heights. In 2015, the Matadors started the Big West season 12-0 en route to a 16-5 finish and the Matadors' first outright Big West Championship.

Erin Thorpe, who posted 30-win seasons three times since 2011 as Boise State's first-ever softball coach, has been named the seventh head softball coach in the history of UC Davis' program and enters her second season at the helm of Aggie softball. Thorpe joins the Aggies after compiling an overall record of 173-150-1, including an impressive 53-15 (.779) home record over the past four seasons.

Linda Garza was named UC Riverside's Head Softball Coach on June 18, 2012 following two seasons as the associate head coach at Big West foe Cal Poly. In only her second season with the Highlanders, the squad concluded the 2014 season with 23 wins-the second-most wins in the program's Division I history. She also coached two Big West All-Conference First-Team selections in Kayla White (2013) and Dionne Anderson (2014). Anderson went on to set the Big West single-season record in stolen bases as UC Riverside's 2013 team set the program's mark in that category with 90.

Bob Coolen is entering his 27th overall season at the University of Hawai'i and his 25th season as the head coach of the Rainbow Wahine program. He is UH's all-time winningest softball coach in the 31-year history of the program with a 897-518-1 record. Overall as a head coach, Coolen has amassed an 969-611-1 record.
