In August of 2011, Kevin Burns became just the second head lacrosse coach at Bellarmine University, succeeding the late Jack McGetrick, who founded the Bellarmine lacrosse program in 2005.

Former two-time Bears' lacrosse captain Lars Tiffany '90, the Rothman Head Coaching Chair for Men's Lacrosse, came back to his alma mater as head men's lacrosse coach in the summer of 2006, and has returned the program to national prominence with Ivy League titles in 2008, 2010 and 2015 and NCAA Championship berths in 2009 and 2015.

After leading the Bryant University men's lacrosse team to its fourth-straight Northeast Conference title and third-consecutive NCAA tournament appearance in 2015, head coach Mike Pressler returns in 2016 with a reloaded squad in search of even more hardware.

Stan Ross enters his second season on the Butler sidelines after an impressive inaugural campaign that saw a win over No. 16 and Great Western Lacrosse League (GWLL) champion Fairfield and four Bulldogs earn postseason honors. Ross was named the third head coach in Butler lacrosse history June 16, 2004, arriving in Indianapolis after serving as Towson's top assistant and defensive coordinator for six seasons.

The Colgate men's lacrosse head coach just completed his fourth season and already has posted a pair of Patriot League regular season championships, one postseason title and two trips to the NCAA tournament.

Chris Wojcik '96 has returned Harvard to the national stage in his five years as the Frisbie Family Head Coach for Harvard Men's Lacrosse. In 2014 the Crimson did what no other team had done in 24 years, winning the program's first Ivy League championship since 1990 with a 5-1 conference record.

Seth Tierney became the fifth head coach in the history of the Hofstra Men's Lacrosse program when he was hired for the position in August 2006. Entering his tenth season in 2016, Tierney has led the Pride to 78 victories, the 2008 Colonial Athletic Association championship, the 2009, 2011 and 2014 CAA regular season titles and berths in four consecutive NCAA Championships from 2008 through 2011.

The eighth head coach in the 55-year history of the LIU Post men's lacrosse program, John Jez will man the sidelines for his tenth season as head coach of the Pioneers. Jez and the Pioneers have established a strong winning tradition and perennial national dominance of the men's lacrosse program at LIU Post.

Kyle Hannan - A veteran coach with over 20 years of collegiate coaching experience - was introduced as Mercer men's lacrosse head coach by Director of Athletics Jim Cole on August 6, 2012.

Head coach Eric Seideman returns for his fifth year as the head coach of the men's lacrosse program for the 2016 season. He also serves as the department's NCAA Compliance Officer.

Entering his 14th season as men's lacrosse Head Coach at Quinnipiac, Eric Fekete has pushed the Bobcats' program to new heights. Quinnipiac started a new chapter when Fekete and the Bobcats returned to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) last spring.

Andrew McMinn enters his fourth season as head coach at Robert Morris University. McMinn has been at RMU for 10 seasons now, beginning his tenure as an associate head coach during the program's second season in 2006.

Jon Basti is in his second season as the Sacred Heart men's lacrosse head coach. Basti came to Sacred Heart after serving as the Associate Head Coach at the University of Hartford for the last five seasons.

After winning the program's fifth Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) championship, the Tigers logged their third-straight winning season under the direction of Shawn Nadelen, who begins his fifth season at the helm. The third-straight winning season marks the first such run for the Tigers since a seven-year spurt from 2001-07.

Ryan Curtis wrapped up his ninth season at Vermont in 2014-15 after being named men's lacrosse coach in September of 2006. This past season, Curtis became the first-ever coach in program history to be named America East Coach of the Year. He guided the Catamounts to a program-record four victories in conference play as the team secured its best-ever seed in the conference playoffs. After the season, Curtis was selected as Head Coach of the North Team for the 2015 USILA North-South Senior All-Star Game.

University of Delaware head lacrosse coach Bob Shillinglaw, one of the nation's most respected and successful coaches, will begin his 38th season as head coach of the Blue Hen men's lacrosse program and his 41st season of college coaching overall in 2016.

Scott Nelson was named head coach of the Binghamton lacrosse program on May 18, 2011. Nelson enters his fifth season at the helm in 2016. In 2015, the Bearcats faced a daunting schedule, facing four NCAA Tournament teams. They set a program record, scoring 10.7 goals per game. BU won four road games, including its first-ever victory at UMBC. Chris Bechle and Dan Mazurek each earned All-America East Second Team honors, while Sean Gilroy and Ben Kocis were both All-Rookie Team members. Zach Scaduto was named to the All-Academic Team.

After two stints as an assistant coach at Bucknell spanning nearly a decade, Frank Fedorjaka took over as head coach in 2006 when he succeeded longtime mentor Sid Jamieson. In 2011 Fedorjaka guided the team to its first Patriot League Tournament title and second NCAA Tournament appearance, and he has cemented Bucknell's status as an annual Patriot League title contender and national top 20 program.

Matt Kerwick was named the Richard M. Moran Head Coach of Men's Lacrosse at Cornell University on June 11, 2014. Kerwick, who served in the position on an interim basis during the 2014 season, became the 11th head coach in the programs' 122-year history.

As the head men's lacrosse coach at Syracuse University, John Desko has blazed a trail of excellence that distinguishes him as one of the most respected coaches in the nation and the world. Throughout his tenure, he's maintained the winning tradition of Syracuse lacrosse.

Callahan is in his second year as head coach of the Dartmouth men's lacrosse team. During his first season at Dartmouth in 2014-15, he led the Big Green to a record of 5-8 and a conference mark of 1-5, which included a huge 12-11 double-overtime thriller over Harvard to kick off Ivy League play.

One of collegiate lacrosse's legendary coaches, 2015 USILA Division I National Coach of the Year Bill Tierney captured his NCAA-record seventh National Championship in 2015, becoming the first coach to win National Championships in charge of two different programs while leading the University of Denver to the program's first national title in just his sixth year in charge of the Pioneers.

One of the best defensive minds in the game, Chris Kolon is in his eighth season on the sidelines - and second as a head coach - for Detroit in 2016. On June 2, 2014, he was tabbed UDM's interim head coach and then was named the permanent head coach on July 14.

Brian Voelker became just the sixth head coach in Drexel lacrosse history when he was hired in the fall of 2009 and has taken the program to new heights. He is entering his seventh season and has compiled a 57-36 record at the school. Last season, the Dragons advanced to the Colonial Athletic Association for the fourth straight season and for the fifth time in Voelker's six seasons.

The 2015 season was Andy Copelan's seventh at the helm of the Fairfield University men's lacrosse team. He has posted a 64-41 (.610) record with the Stags and owns a nine-year NCAA Division I head coaching record of 82-56 (.594).

Chris Gabrielli became the eighth head coach of the Providence College men's lacrosse program on June 21, 2012 and is embarking on his fourth season with the team.

Richie Meade is entering his third season as the head coach of the Furman Paladins in the 2015-16 school year. Meade was announced on May 26, 2013 as the school's first men's head lacrosse coach.

Eric Seremet is in his seventh season as the head coach for the Air Force lacrosse program. Following the retirement of the legendary Fred Acee in 2008, Seremet, a seven-year assistant for the Falcons, took over the reins as the interim head coach during the 2009 campaign.

Cemented as one of the top coaches in college lacrosse, John Danowski has led the Duke men's lacrosse team to unprecedented success during his eight-year tenure. Danowski was introduced as Duke's eighth head men's lacrosse coach on July 21, 2006 and quickly led the Blue Devils to some of the most successful lacrosse seasons in school history and to three NCAA Championships in five seasons.

A successful head coach at both the international and collegiate levels, Randy Mearns is now in his 18th season leading the Canisius College men's lacrosse program.

Joe Breschi's coaching philosophy is summed up in three words • FAMILY • ACADEMICS • LACROSSE. Now in his seventh year as the head coach of North Carolina's men's lacrosse program, Breschi has installed that philosophy at every level of the program and its outreach to alumni, student-athletes, their families and the Chapel Hill community.

Judd Lattimore is currently in his second season at Holy Cross as the head men's lacrosse coach in 2016. The Crusaders went 6-7 overall and 3-5 in the Patriot League in Lattimore's first season in 2015. The Crusaders' three league wins set the program record for Patriot League victories.

Drew Kelleher is in his first season as Manhattan's head men's lacrosse coach. Prior to his arrival in Riverdale, he was the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Boston University for two seasons.

Jim Rogalski enters his third season on the Lafayette coaching staff as the 19th head coach in the program's 86-year history. Rogalski went 3-10 in his first year with the Leopards and was previously the head coach at the University of Scranton.

Joe Amplo, the 2014 BIG EAST Conference Coach of the Year, was named the first head coach in Marquette men's lacrosse history on Feb. 4, 2011 and guided the Golden Eagles to a 10-win campaign in just their third season of NCAA Division I competition in 2015.

Chris Bates, whose calmness and strength serve as the bedrock of the Princeton men's lacrosse program, is in his sixth year as the head coach of the Tigers. Bates has led Princeton to two Ivy league championships, two NCAA tournaments and three Ivy League tournament finals, including one championship, in his first five years.

Jeff Tambroni is in his sixth season as Penn State's head coach in 2016. In 2014, Tambroni led Penn State to its fourth consecutive above-.500 season.

Keegan Wilkinson was named head coach of the Marist men's lacrosse team on June 28, 2011. He had spent the four previous years as the Red Foxes' assistant coach. Wilkinson led the Red Foxes to their winningest season in program history and was named MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 when Marist ended its year ranked 20th in the nation.

A native of Baltimore, Md., Ed Stephenson begins his second year in charge of the UMass Lowell men's lacrosse program. In his first season and the program's first in Division I, Stephenson helped lead the River Hawks to the program's first victory at NJIT on March 7. Under his leadership, freshmen attackmen Cory Highfield and Sean Tyrrell were rewarded for their strong seasons with spots on the America East All-Rookie Team.

Kevin Warne enters his fourth season on the Hilltop, as the 12th Head Coach of the Georgetown University men's lacrosse program. Warne was selected to take the reins of the 50 + year old program by Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Lee Reed in August, 2012.

Peter Lawrence enters his 10th year as head coach of the University of Hartford men's lacrosse team. Voted the 2011 New England Coach of the Year by his peers, Lawrence, who has produced a pair of USILA All-Americans during his tenure, has brought the Hartford lacrosse program to new heights, developing a tradition of success on the field as well as in the classroom and the community.

Jon Torpey has led the High Point University men's lacrosse team since its inception, having been named the program's first head coach in 2010. In just three seasons of NCAA competition, Torpey has built HPU into a program that has qualified for one NCAA Tournament and missed another berth by one goal.

Poised to become the all-time winningest coach in school history, Dave Pietramala understands the history and tradition of the Johns Hopkins men's lacrosse program better than anyone. He spent four years as a standout defenseman for the Blue Jays from 1986 though 1989 and the last 15 years rebuilding the program to the status it held during his playing days.

In July of 2013, Greg Raymond was named the head coach of the Hobart lacrosse team. He joined the Statesmen following four seasons as the defensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator at Princeton University. "After a comprehensive national search, it was clear that Coach Raymond possesses a passion for the game, an ability to connect with and motivate student-athletes, and an understanding and respect for the tradition of Hobart lacrosse," says Hobart and William Smith President Mark D. Gearan."

Kevin Cassese enters his ninth season as Lehigh's head men's lacrosse coach in 2016. Cassese's impact has been immediate, leading the Mountain Hawks to back-to-back Patriot League Championships in 2012 and 2013 followed by a third straight appearance in the league title game in 2014. Lehigh has advanced to five straight Patriot League Tournaments.

Charley Toomey, who is entering his 10th season as a collegiate head coach, has put his stamp on the Loyola men's lacrosse program as a disciplined, tough, athletic and skillful unit.

In season five as head coach of the Michigan men's lacrosse team, head coach John Paul has continued his quest towards building the Wolverines into an NCAA power after spending the previous 14 seasons as head coach of the University of Michigan men's lacrosse club team, compiling a career record of 241-44.

On June 9, 2011, Naval Academy Director of Athletics Chet Gladchuk introduced Rick Sowell, a man who has been involved with rebuilding programs at Georgetown, Dartmouth, St. John's and Stony Brook, as the Naval Academy's eighth head men's lacrosse coach in its 100-plus year storied history.

Travis Johnson was named the first head coach of men's lacrosse at New Jersey Institute of Technology, Director of Athletics Lenny Kaplan announced in December 2013. Johnson, who was hired to coach a start-up program, began competition in 2015 as an NCAA Division I team, concluding a 12-game inaugural varsity season.

Nick Myers completed his seventh season as head coach for the Ohio State men's lacrosse team in 2015. He took over the program July 10, 2008, after three seasons as the top assistant for the Buckeyes.

Mike Murphy was hired in July 2009 and has spent the last six years as head coach of the Penn men's lacrosse program. Murphy's tenure has coincided with an upswing in the program's fortunes. Penn has made a pair of NCAA Championship appearances under Murphy, in 2011 and 2014, and hosted its 2014 first-round game with Drexel which was the Quakers' first NCAA home game since 1988. Penn was the fourth seed in the 2014 NCAA Championship, its highest seed since the 1988 semifinal team.

The 2015 season will mark Jason Miller's ninth year as head coach of the St. John's lacrosse program. Miller leads a Red Storm team that in recent years has climbed to national relevance while posting record-breaking campaigns in 2012 and 2013.

The question of how soon the arrival of Dan Chemotti to head the Richmond men's lacroose program would pay dividends was answered rather quickly. Chemotti did what no other coach in the history of Division I lacrosse was able to accomplish; he took a first-year program to the NCAA Tournament in 2014.

Brian Brecht, who has 20 seasons of collegiate coaching experience, enters his fifth season as the head coach at Rutgers in 2016. Brecht was named head coach on June 16, 2011. In 2015, Brecht guided RU through the transition into the inaugural season in the Big Ten Conference. The Scarlet Knights earned five wins, highlighted by a 17-10 win over No. 10 Ohio State in the season finale.

John Svec enters his fifth season as the head men's lacrosse coach at Siena College. A two-time Anaconda Sports MAAC Coach of the Year (2012, 2014), Svec guided the Saints to the program's third MAAC Championship in 2014.

Ward Melville High School graduate Jim Nagle is in his fourth season as head coach of the Stony Brook men's lacrosse team. Nagle joined the Seawolves in 2012 after 10 seasons as head coach at Colgate.

Scott Marr begins his 16th season as UAlbany's head coach. The only coach hired in the Division I era at the University at Albany, Marr, a four-time America East Coach of the Year, has coached the Great Danes to seven America East Tournament titles, seven appearances in the NCAA Tournament and a trio of NCAA Tournament victories.

Recognized as one of the nation's top lacrosse coaches, Greg Cannella enters his 22nd year at the helm of the University of Massachusetts program in 2015-16.

John Tillman was hired as the University of Maryland's head men's lacrosse coach on June 16, 2010, becoming the ninth coach in the then-85-year history of the program. Tillman came to College Park after three years returning Harvard lacrosse to national prominence and twelve seasons as the top assistant at Navy, during which the Midshipmen experienced some of the best years in their storied history.

Kevin Corrigan is entering his 28th season on the Fighting Irish sideline in 2016. Since his arrival on campus in 1988, Corrigan has built Notre Dame into one of the premier men's lacrosse programs in the country.

The 2015-16 season marks Mike Corrado's 10th year as the head coach at Villanova and his 21st overall with the program. Corrado was appointed head coach during the summer of 2006 after being named associate head coach one year earlier.

Widely regarded as one of the best teachers, motivators and tacticians in the game, Dom Starsia is in his 24th season at the helm of the Virginia men's lacrosse program.

Jon Birsner was named the new head coach for VMI lacrosse on June 22, 2015. Birsner, a native of Levittown, New York, spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach at Southern Conference opponent Furman University.

Matt Poskay, an All-American midfielder who played on two National Championship teams at the University of Virginia following a storied high school career, and the 2010 MVP of the Major Lacrosse League, will enter his fourth season at the helm of the Wagner men's lacrosse program.

The last six (2010-2015) seasons under Andy Shay, who completed his 12th season of his first collegiate head coaching job in 2015, have been historic for the program on many levels. The Bulldogs have gone 63-28 with five (four consecutive) 10-win seasons.
