Pan American Hockey Federation

USA Field Hockey is the national governing body for field hockey in the United States. USA Field Hockey is a member organization of the United States Olympic Committee and the International Hockey Federation. The USA Field Hockey Association is headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia. It was founded in 1922.

The Federacion Chilena de Hockey Sobre Cesped (English:Chilean Field Hockey Federation), is the governing body of field hockey in Chile.It is based in Santiago. The president is Esteban Geyger. It also runs the Chile national teams for men and women.

Field Hockey Canada (FHC) is the national sports organization responsible for the development and growth of field hockey in Canada. In collaboration with provincial and club members, FHC provides programs and resources to support the field hockey community from the pitch to the podium.

The Argentine Hockey Confederation ("Confederacion Argentina de Hockey") is the official governing body of field hockey in Argentina. It governs the men's and the women's national teams and clubs competition "Liga Nacional de Hockey" (LNH) and "Argentino de Clubes".

The Pan American Hockey Federation is the field and Indoor hockey federation for the Americas. It consists of 26 Members. It is associated with the International Hockey Federation and hosts several continental competitions for national teams.

The Argentina national field hockey team represents Argentina in international field hockey competitions. The team won the bronze medal at the 2014 World Cup, being ranked 11th in the FIH World Rankings. They have also won bronze at the 2008 Champions Trophy, during Carlos Retegui's first period as coach.

The Pan American Hockey Federation (PAHF) is keeping the premise that all its member countries should have the opportunity to qualify for the Pan American Games through a regional tournament held during the two years immediately preceding the Pan American Games year.

An invitation-only trial held at the beginning of January serves as the only selection opportunity to the U.S. Women's National Team and features past and present collegiate all-stars and members of the current National Squad, Junior National Squad and Transitional Athletes competing for the opportunity to represent the red, white and blue on the international stage. The U.S. Women's National Team represents the top athletes in the United States who represent the U.S. at all major international competitions during non-Olympic years.
