American East

The Albany Great Danes Basketball team is the basketball team that represent the University at Albany, State University of New York in Albany, New York. The school's team currently competes in the America East Conference and plays its home games at SEFCU Arena. The team played in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in 2006, 2007, 2013, and 2014, 2015 and are currently coached by Will Brown.

The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team represents Binghamton University and is located in Vestal, NY. The team currently competes in the America East Conference and plays its home games at the Binghamton University Events Center. Since becoming an NCAA Division I basketball program in 2001, the team has played in one NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in 2009.

The Hartford Hawks men's basketball team is the basketball team that represents University of Hartford in Hartford, Connecticut, United States. The school's team currently competes in the America East Conference.

The basketball teams, as well as all other sports teams, participate in the America East Conference. Current Clemson University head baseball coach Jack Leggett also attended the university, as well as NBA head coach Rick Carlisle (although Carlisle transferred to Virginia and finished his college career there).

The Stony Brook Seawolves men's basketball team is the college basketball program representing Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York. The Seawolves currently participate as part of the NCAA's Division I basketball, and compete on the America East Conference.

The UMass Lowell River Hawks men's basketball team represents the University of Massachusetts Lowell in Lowell, Massachusetts, United States. Beginning in the 2013-14 season, the River Hawks made the jump to NCAA Division I and joined the America East Conference.

The UMBC Retrievers men's basketball team represents the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I competition as a member of the America East Conference. UMBC has made one Division I postseason appearance in the NCAA tournament in 2008, in which it qualified by winning the America East Conference Tournament.

The Vermont Catamounts Basketball team is the basketball team that represent the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. The school's team currently competes in the America East Conference and plays its home games at Patrick Gym. The team has reached the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament five times, in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2010 and 2012. UVM famously upset Syracuse University in the first round of the 2005 tournament. The Catamounts are coached by John Becker.
